One of the things about 2011 was the music – particularly the worship music. It was as though a vast reservoir opened in heaven and poured down on Christian worship artists everywhere. Here are a few of the songs that I list under “absolute must-ads” – songs that, even though you may have never heard of them, are near perfect corporate praise songs: great, theologically correct, Bible-laced lyrics, unique, memorable lyrics, and fresh, new musical approaches to corporate praise and worship.
This is my list, narrowed down as much as I could stand:
“God on High” – Classic City Collective
“I am not the Same” – Unhindered
(written in 2011, but technically not released by Unhindered till the first week of 2012)
“You make all things New” – Grace Midtown
Let me encourage you to download these and consider whether they might be songs that could well-serve your community!

Good List, both “I Wonder” and “Song of Moses” are on the list to be introduced this year. Last week I introduced a song by David Brymer, it hasn’t yet been recorded but he played it at IHOP KC’s onething conference. It is called “Worthy of it All” and it definitely made my 2011 list for sure.
