So, friends… it’s LIVE!
I’m so proud of this song – it’s GREAT, but I can say that because most of its greatness is due to others far more talented than myself. Gary Durbin had the original idea – I ran with it, then went to McKendree Augustas for help – after a little more work, passed it off to Bobby Gilles to add those finishing lyrical touches. In the studio, most of the brilliance can be attributed to Trey Roth’s excellent ear, & our incredibly skilled guests, Matt Podesla & Joe Lee. I’m honored to have had a small part in making it all happen.
I pray this song moves your hearts a little closer to Jesus, encouraging you to pray “Your Kingdom come – YOUR WILL be done on Earth as it is in Heaven…” This is my heart’s cry, which is why I knew we needed to record this one next: I believe it. I hope it also serves the church – worship pastors, I’ve attached the chord chart below. Let me know if & when you use it, & even share audio/videos of your versions.
