“It is my passion and call to lead others to experience God’s crazy love through corporate worship, music (including original songs), discipleship, and Biblical teaching, and to raise up other worship leaders to do the same.“
Hi, I’m Shannon “Saint Lewis“: BELIEVER, Husband, Father, Son, Pastor, Songwriter, Musician, Worshiper, & Creative
So, I know what you’re probably asking: “What’s with the NAME?!“
A former Atheist, I was donned “Saint Lewis” by a circle of skeptic friends shortly after Jesus got ahold of me. Having played in various bands since I was 13, Saint Lewis became my artist name shortly after meeting my wife, Cyle Augusta, in ’02.
Currently worship pastor at CrossPointe Church, I’ve previously served at Fondren Church, Riverstone Community Church, 1st United Methodist Church, St. Simons Community Church, & The Gathering Place. I also record my original worship music under my nick-name, SAINT LEWIS.
“I enjoy working with and training unseasoned worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists. Secondly, I am passionate about sharing Jesus with those who don’t yet know Him, especially youth!“
Debut cd, SONGS FROM THE HOPE FARM, was released in 2010, followed by four singles; “Your Mighty Hand”, “Your Will”, “When this Day Ends”, & “You won’t Stop”. Having released a worship-training eBook, Unseasoned: How to see Godly growth in an Inexperienced Worship Team, my sophomore worship CD, MORNING WILL COME released in May of 2018, with a follow-up single, “Northern Star (Don’t want to get over You)” released in May or ’23. New children’s EP due out soon as HOPE FARM KIDS, Volume 1!
Stick around, read a few blogs, and join the conversation! Thank you for the visit!
“Worship – the main conduit by which many in our generation discovers God – is riddled with impoverished and selfish theology, & too often our own preachers are being undermined by their worship leaders. Shannon, however, cares deeply not only about musical excellence, but also reliable God-centered theology, and walking humbly with God in equal measure.”
– Steve Rieske, Campus Director, Bowling Green Campus Crusade for Christ
“Shannon is a true Levite. He is a man on pure heart, with a special musical gifting, an amazing vocal range, & great passion and expression. When Shannon took the lead at the Gathering Place’s Main Event, drawing 1,200+ a night, it was a huge success, due in great part to Shannon’s leadership, & his deep desire to mentor younger, new worship leaders.”
– Phil Belt, Task Force, the Gathering Place
“One of those voices you could listen to for hours. Their songs range from incredible corporate worship, to other perfect for personal worship, all packed with a powerful message and rich theology.”
– Fred McKinnon, FredMcKinnon.com
“I have never seen anyone pour so much time & energy into raising up musicians, singers, & worship leaders.”
– McKendree Augustas; Kari Jobe band, Worship Leader, Songwriter, Producer
